Hello, I created these pixel Characters for the Pixel Grit Series to help populate Old Town and have them venture out into the Lonesome Forest!

There are 14 Characters, with 12 Animation States, and I also included some combat related animations for each citizen, in case you'd like to give your citizens weapons. The Image below is an example of all the Animation States.

Included in the Download:

Folders for each Citizen containing :

  • Spritesheet for Non-Combat Animations (4 Directional)
  • Spritesheet for Combat Animtions (4 Directional)

Could you please provide a legend to note the order of the different animations? It appears there are now 31 animations for instance for non-combat...

Hi, do you mean the order of the the animation states for each character's spritesheet? If that is what you mean, I posted two legend images below. One for Non-Combat and one for Combat. Each character uses the same order. (Note: I did notice a mistake, at the end of each combat spritesheet I added a duplicate Ready Combat Pose. I will update the download file with the correction soon and I'll add in the legend)

Love the new sprites! Some great animations here! I need to finish off my 4 direction animations as well, definitely takes a bit of time.

Thank you! Yeah, it really took a while to figure out a good workflow file in Aseprite (such a great app). Hopefully now that that's set up, the next bactch will be quicker!

I can already tell your Undead Asset Pack is gonna looks amazing with 4 Directions!

Glad to see this one!

Thanks! More to come soon! :)

have been watching the top down packs and waiting, as soon as the characters showed up I was on board completely!

Yay, always appreciated your positive comments! Welcome aboard :)
